George Djuhari
PARTNER
George Djuhari comes from a long-established maritime family in Indonesia. He began his shipping career in 1981 as a Chartering Executive at PT Gesuri Lloyd, then Indonesia’s largest ship-owning company, where he gained foundational experience in commercial shipping operations.
From the late 1980s onward, George has been actively involved in the formation, investment and management of numerous international ship-owning and operating companies. Over the decades, he has held senior managerial and investment roles across family-owned ventures spanning shipping and a range of diversified business portfolios.
George later co-founded HBC Hamburg Bulk Carriers together with his German partners, Georg Greilinger and Jens von Husen. HBC operated as both a ship-owning and commercial management platform, owning nine modern eco-designed dry bulk vessels and commercially operating a fleet of approximately 40 vessels. The company maintained operational offices in Singapore, Hamburg, and Jakarta.
HBC subsequently merged with AMP Shipping (Hong Kong) to form Cetus Maritime, which owned more than 40 vessels at the time George exited his ownership position. Navigr8 Bulk represents George’s latest venture in the shipping industry. Drawing on over four decades of international maritime experience, he brings deep commercial insight, strategic leadership, and operational discipline to the business, with a strong commitment to reliability and long-term value creation. George holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, awarded in 1980.
Narayan BGS

Narayan has over 20 years of diversified knowledge & experience across ship-owning/operating, commodities and freight trading. He began his career in 2004 with a ship-broking firm based in Delhi, where he gained early exposure to maritime markets and chartering fundamentals.
Over the course of his career, Narayan has worked across India, Dubai and Singapore, relocating to Singapore in 2009. He has since held both mid & Senior level managerial cum leadership roles in various organizations, building extensive expertise and connections.
Narayan’s experience spans both physical commodity trading and freight markets, giving him a strong commercial understanding of supply chains, logistics, and market dynamics across regions.
He holds a Master’s degree in Shipping and Port Management from AMET, providing a solid academic foundation to complement his extensive industry experience.
Muljadi Irawan
DIRECTOR
Muljadi Irawan brings over 22 years of diversified management experience across a broad range of industries. His career has involved senior roles in family-owned and privately held enterprises spanning palm oil plantations, power generation, timber and log processing, real estate development, mining and sportainment.
A significant portion of Muljadi’s professional background includes approximately 15 years of hands-on involvement in ship-owning companies, where he developed strong expertise in commercial management, corporate structuring and multi-jurisdictional operations. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for managing medium to large-scale organizations with complex operational and financial structures.
Muljadi holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia, earned in 2004. In addition to his core business activities, he has been actively involved in several sustainability-driven and environmentally focused startup ventures, reflecting a long-term commitment to responsible business practices.
